If you have not yet completed your first full fill of the tank and have only performed a partial fill / used methanol, the gauge may not display the correct tank level. Methanol can interfere with the capacitance sensors, causing inaccurate readings.
 

This issue should resolve itself after the first full fill, and the gauge reading should correct automatically.
