Capacitance-based level measurement is not new technology. It has been successfully deployed for decades across a wide range of industrial applications. However, as we brought the technology into the propane industry, we discovered that real-world operating conditions and industry-specific practices introduced challenges that even experienced experts did not anticipate.

Rather than accept those limitations, we went back to work.

Three product generations later, dozens of tanks sacrificed to testing, more than 24 full-scale tank validations, over 2,400 calibration checkpoints when including live production data, and more than 2,000 documented measurements have helped shape a gauge built specifically for propane applications. Every lesson learned has been incorporated into the product you see today.
